1933 Goudey Benny Bengough #1 Card Graded PSA 3 (Autograph Grade 9). Benny was part of the 1920s Yankees team that garnered the "Murderer's Row" nickname! He passed away on December 22, 1968. Only 2 autographed examples of this card have ever been authenticated by PSA/DNA and this is the highest graded example (Pop 1) - the other one had an authentic grade, so this is, by far, the best example ever graded! From 1923-1930, Bengough played with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig during their prime years, which included being a member of the legendary 1927 Yankee squad. This Bengough card has become a star in the word of collecting, as it is card #1 in this legendary set. This card, which is often found off-center, is part of the extremely tough low-number series and was the subject of much abuse over the years. This Bengough card represents one of the toughest holes to fill for the high grade collector of this historic set and it's one of 2 known signed cards, and by far the highest quality example! Part of The Uncle Jimmy Collection.
