Lot of (20+) Signed Memorabilia Pieces from Historical Foreign Political or War Figures inc. (2) J.A. Hammerton, George Riddell, Wilford Gibson, More. This lot includes (2) signed correspondance from J. A. Hammerton, British writer whose work specialized around World War I, signed correspondence from 1st Baron, George Riddell who is known for his role as Chairman of the News of World and was a liaison between the British Government and the press during World War I, (2) correspondences signed by Wilford Gibson who served as a British World War I poet. Other notable signed letters in this lot include Luis Quintanilla, Mexican Diplomat to the U.S., World War II Italian Naval Admiral, Captain Ferdinando Casardi, Herbert Scholz, 1st Secretary of the German Embassy/Nazi Diplomat, John Pelenyi, Minister of Hungary to the U.S., and Jiro Takase, Japanese Diplomat to Sri Lanka. Additional notable signatures in the lot include Abelardo B. Bueno de Prade, Edgar Prochnik (Ambassador of Austria to the U.S.), Charles A. Davila, Hector Diaz Leguizamon, A.L. Mullady, and more. A number of these letters are typed on the corresponding country's letter head. Due to lack of exemplars & obscurity of some of these signatures, JSA offers no opinion on this lot, and it is being sold as is. JSA did confirm that all signatures in the lot are live ink.
