This Babe Ruth card BVG 2 was part of Goudey's exclusive 4-card premium issue set of early 1930s. This innovative card measures 5-1/2" x 8-13/16", and is a black & white photo, accented with a gold picture frame style border. But for the chipping on the 4 corners of this premium card, this card is in beautiful condition, with no creasings or markings that we can see. These cards were issued with a pop-out easel, to be used for standing display purposes. While most of the cards left in this set are now missing the easel, this card has it intact. The Babe Ruth is the most desirable of this 4 card series.
