This is a Larry Holmes signed red Everlast boxing glove. The glove is signed in black sharpie and inscribed "Easton Assassin". Includes Leaf autograph authentication. Holmes, from Easton, PA, has a left jab that is considered one of the best in boxing history. He held multiple heavyweight titles in the in mid-1970s to mid 1980s, including WBC heavyweight champion, The Ring magazine champion, and the IBF champion. He made 20 successful title defenses, and is one of only five men—along with Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Leon Spinks and Trevor Berbick—to defeat Muhammad Ali in the ring.
