1939 Babe Ruth HOF Plaque Post Card graded Authentic Altered. This post card was part of the first issuing of this product by the Hall of Fame. They are considered the grandfather of all Hall of Fame postcards, and without a doubt are the most desirable to collect & the most difficult to find. This post card style card does have writing on the back, hence the altered grade. There were 2 types of post cards issued these years - this post card is type 2, designated as card #21.
