Rare 1925-31 W590 Travis Jackson card (hand cut) graded SGC "authentic". Jackson played for the New York Giants from 1922 through 1936, winning the 1933 World Series, and representing the Giants in the MLB All-Star in 1934. His exceptional range at shortstop led to the nickname "Stonewall". Jackson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. The 1925-31 W590 strip-card set is a multi-subject set of undetermined release. After being cut from the strips, the cards measure 1-3/8” by 2-1/2” and show a black-and-white player photo on the front with his name, position, city and league printed below in the white perimeter border. Variations of these blank-backed cards are included considering the set was distributed over the course of six years.
