Topps Baseball 1952 Reprint Set in Album - Printed in 1983

This was the first major reprint set produced by Topps of the highly coveted 1952 Topps set. While this set originally came boxed, this lot features the cards in an album (original box not included). Topps was able to reprint all but 5 of the original cards in the original 1952 set. Set highlights include all of the stars of the day, including Mickey Mantle (slight wrinkle on the middle right side), Willie Mays, Phil Rizzuto, Warren Spahn, Duke Snider, Bob Feller, Eddie Mathews, Jackie Robinson, Leo Durocher, Roy Campanella, Robin Roberts, Enos Slaughter, and many more. The box top was cut out and saved as well as the back of the box, which contains the checklist for this set.
