This magazine was issued as the 14th Annual Football Classic program, sponsored by the Phila. Inquirer Charities Inc, and played by 2 great football teams - Philadelphia Eagles & Chicago Bears. The Eagles were just 1 year removed from their NFL Championship, and their winning players were pictured in this program. The Bears were always a formidable team, and this program featured George Blanda as their up & coming young quarterback, listed as a half back in this program. This very well may be one of Blanda's earliest photos, and was 3 years ahead of his first rookie card issued by Topps. The program is intact, with one very slight tear along the bottom border of the cover.
