This is an original 8"x10" Mickey Mantle Type I Photo pose from famous baseball photographer Don Wingfield. This original circa 1952 Type I photo has been PSA authenticated and slabbed. The photo has the original Don Wingfield stamp on the back of the photo! The photo displays very nicely, and is the image that was used for Mantle's 1951-52 Wheaties card (#G) and was taken at Ebbets Field by Don Wingfield in 1952. This is an extremely rare Type I photo of an iconic pose of Mickey Mantle! Due to the scarcity and rarity of this image, PSA has included a letter of authenticity in addition to slabbing the card in the holder. The letter from PSA/DNA mentions the location of the photo and the use in the Wheaties image! Part of The Uncle Jimmy Collection.
