This very difficult to collect, 1961 Topps high number series of 65 cards are all PSA graded, with 97% of the set grading PSA 7 or higher. The high series includes the 22 National & American League All Star cards. Key cards in this high number AS series include #576 Roger Maris AS PSA 8 (OC), #577 Hank Aaron AS PSA 7, #578 Mickey Mantle AS PSA 8, #579 Willie Mays AS PSA 8 (OC), & #589 Warren Spahn AS (last card in set) PSA 7. Other notable high grade cards in this set include #525 Ron Perranoski RC PSA 9, #530 Bobby Malkmus PSA 8.5, & #555 Sam Jones PSA 9 (OC). There are only 2 cards in this entire lot that graded lower than a PSA 7 - they include #523 Joe Gibbon PSA 6 & #564 Don Cardwell PSA 6, and with only 9 qualifier cards in this high series lot.
