This large lot of 1940 Play Ball cards include Christy Mathewson, Tris Speaker, Bill Dickey, Joe Cronin, George Kelly, Johnny Evers, Luke Sewell, and many more stars throughout. Each of these cards has some minor surface damage on edges and/or corners, mostly likely due to long term storage. With that said, the minor edge/corner issues do not detract from the portraits of the players, and these cards still maintain their eye appeal.
