Unique Bulova wrist watch that was presented to former Yankee Bill Short for his first professional shutout in 1956 (for the Monroe Sport in Class-C Evangeline League). Comes with a Bill Short signed 1961 Topps Card (also includes a JSA auction letter of authenticity). The watch is engraved "Bulova, Bill Short, Shutout, Monroe, LA, 1965". A unique item from the collection of the former Yankees pitcher, which was obtained directly from Short when he lived in Sarasota, FL. He made his major league debut for the Yankees in 1960 and played his final game with the Cincinnati Reds in 1969. He also played for the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Mets.
