(5) rare 1910 tobacco cards - each graded SGC 1 or 1.5. The cards include T210 Old Mill McFarlin, T209 Contentnea Cigarettes Hooker (Black & White Photo Series), T209 Armstrong (First Series), T209 Walsh (First Series), and T209 Hoffman (First Series). Contentnea cards were distributed in packs of Contentnea Cigarettes (based in Wilson, North Carolina) in 1909-1910. The cards appeared in two versions: Series One (First Series) displayed color lithographs of players that resembled the popular T206 format, and Series Two (Photo Series) reproduced black-and-white photographs of players in field or studio poses. The T210 Old Mill set were produced in 1910 by the American Tobacco Company and packaged inside Old Mill Cigarettes 10 count slide and shell boxes - the card set contains 640 total cards. T210 cards are easily identified by their distinctive borders; the cards are often referred to by collectors as "red borders" and is made up of eight series, each representing a different minor league.
