Lot of (2) 1934 Cigarette Cards Non-Sport Sets - Wills Famous Film Stars (Large) & Godfrey Phillips Shots From the Films. This lot includes a 1934 Wills Famous Film Stars complete set of (100) cards. These light sepia-toned photo portrait cards are the large variation, and the cards show evidence of being held in a scrapbook by corner mounts (they were not pasted and there is no paper loss on backs of any cards). Additionally, this lot includes a 1934 Godfrey Phillips Shots from the Films complete set of (48) color cards. Both sets are loaded with key actors and actresses of the day, including Charlie Chaplin, Katharine Hepburn, Marlene Deitrich, Gary Cooper, Douglas Fairbanks Sr & Jr, Cary Grant, Bette Davis, George Raft, Laurel & Hardy, and many, many more. These 2 card sets consist of the performers that made the transition from silent films to films with sound.
