This is a RARE Willard Brown Signed Index Card. Willard "Home Run" Brown (d. 1996) was a legendary power hitter in the Negro Leagues, starring for the Kansas City Monarchs and briefly playing for the St. Louis Browns in 1947. He became the first African-American to hit a home run in the American League, and later dominated the Puerto Rican Winter League, winning multiple Triple Crowns. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006, Brown’s legacy reflects both his immense talent and the barriers he helped break. The autograph is from the Dave Hill collection and is slabbed by PSA/DNA!
