George Sisler (HOF, St Louis Browns) Signed Hand-Written Letter (JSA COA). The writing on the letter and the autograph are somewhat faded - likely a 3-4 on a scale to 10. George Sisler was a brilliant first baseman who played from 1915 to 1930, primarily with the St. Louis Browns, and was known for his exceptional hitting and fielding. He won two batting titles, including a staggering .420 average in 1922, and set a modern record with 257 hits in a single season—a mark that stood until 2004. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1939, Sisler finished his career with a .340 batting average and 2,812 hits, earning praise from legends like Ty Cobb as one of the most complete players of his era.
