Framed & Matted Ted Williams Signed Time To Serve Lithograph #378/500 25”x31” (+JSA Auction Letter). This limited edition lithograph of Ted Williams is by Lewis Watkins, the renowned sports artist that help found the Ted Williams Hitters Museum in Florida. Signed with a bold black sharpie by Ted Williams, this print commemorates Williams' military service. It features Ted Williams in pilot's gear, along with the planes that he flew during his US Marines and US Navy career. There is a white border around the print, and at the bottom it says, "Capt. T.S. Williams, U.S.M.C., World War II and Korean War". On the bottom left the print is individually numbered in pencil #378 out of 500. The artist signature, also done in pencil, is on the bottom right. This is a 25"x31" print displayed in a 39"x33" frame w. matte. The frame shows corner wear, and there is water damage/staining on the matte (see pictured). We are unable to discern if there is any water damage or staining on the print itself, but the signature is not impacted in any way. There is also tearing on the paper backing of the frame.
